FAQ
Questions, answered.
Short, straight answers about the GWT V2 desktop app. If yours isn't here, email info@glenworld.io or ask in the Discord.
The app
What GWT V2 is.
What is GWT V2?
GWT V2 is a native desktop terminal for futures and index-options traders. It puts a live order-book heatmap, dealer-gamma views, options flow, news, research tools and a trading community in one GPU-rendered app for macOS and Windows.
It is analytics and visualization software. It does not place trades, and nothing in it is financial advice.
What happened to the web version?
It has been retired. GWTRADE is now a native desktop app, and there is no browser access any more. Your existing access token works in the app: download it, open it and paste the same token at sign-in.
Which systems does it run on?
macOS 26 (Tahoe) or newer on Apple Silicon (M1 or later), and Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, with OpenGL 3 graphics drivers. One subscription covers both.
Does it work on an Intel Mac?
No. The Mac build runs only on Apple Silicon (M1 or later), even on an Intel Mac that has macOS 26. If you have an Intel Mac, use a Windows PC for now.
Is there a Linux version?
It's coming, but there is no download or date yet. Watch the changelog or the Discord for the announcement.
Is there a phone or tablet app?
No. GWT V2 is built for a desktop screen. On a phone, the download page lets you copy the link to open later on your computer.

Getting it running.
Why does my computer warn me when I first open the app?
GWT V2 isn't code-signed by Apple or Microsoft yet, so both systems ask you to confirm the first launch. macOS says it can't verify the developer; Windows SmartScreen says it protected your PC. This is about the missing signature, not about anything found in the app.
On a Mac, open System Settings, then Privacy & Security, and click Open Anyway. On Windows, click More info, then Run anyway. You only do this once.
Is it safe to open an unsigned app?
Download it only from gwtrade.app and check the file before you open it: the download page lists the SHA-256 checksum of each zip and the command that verifies it. If the checksum matches, you have exactly the file we published.
Updates are safer still: the app installs an update only when its manifest carries our release signature and the file's size and checksum match it.
Where should I put the app?
On a Mac, move GWT V2 into Applications. On Windows, unzip the whole folder somewhere you own, such as your Documents or a folder in your user profile, and keep gwt.exe next to libmpv-2.dll. The app needs a folder it can write to so it can update itself.
How do updates work?
The app checks for new versions on its own and offers to install them, so you download from the site only once. Every update is verified before it's installed. The changelog lists what changed in each version.
How do I uninstall it?
On a Mac, drag GWT V2 from Applications to the Trash. On Windows, delete the folder you extracted. To remove your saved sign-in and settings too, delete the .gwt folder in your home folder. Uninstalling doesn't cancel your subscription.
Access token
Signing in.
How does the access token work?
When you pay, you get an access token: ten characters shown as XXXXX-XXXXX. It appears on the confirmation page and is emailed to you. Paste it at sign-in in the app, and tick Remember on this computer if you don't want to paste it again. There is no password.
My token doesn't work right after I paid.
A new token can take up to a minute to activate. Wait a moment and connect again. If it still says Invalid token, email info@glenworld.io from the address you paid with.
The app says “Too many failed attempts”.
After several wrong tokens in a row, sign-in pauses for a short while. Wait a few seconds, check the token for typos (the dash and letter case don't matter) and try again.
The app says my access has expired.
Your subscription has ended or a payment didn't go through. Renew on the pricing page, or email info@glenworld.io if you think it's a mistake.
How many computers can I use it on?
Your token is personal; please don't share it. If you want to run GWT V2 on more than one of your own computers, email info@glenworld.io and we'll tell you what your plan allows.
I lost my token.
Search your inbox for the purchase email from gwtrade.app; it contains the token. If you can't find it, email info@glenworld.io from the address you paid with.
Billing
Plans, cancelling and refunds.
What does it cost?
One plan, two billing cycles: Full Access for $64.99 a month, or $349 every 6 months, which works out to $58.17 a month (10% off). Both include every module, macOS and Windows, and every update. Prices are in US dollars; Stripe shows any tax before you pay.
How do I cancel?
You can cancel any time before your next billing date; email info@glenworld.io from the address you paid with. Cancelling stops future billing; payments already made aren't refunded.
Can I get a refund?
As a digital subscription, payments are generally non-refundable once a billing cycle has started, and partial use doesn't create a refund. We may look at exceptional cases individually. The refund policy has the full terms.
Data and modules
What you see on screen.
Is the data live?
During the session, the order book, trades and options prints stream into the app as they happen, and the gamma and flow views update through the day. Research modules such as Wheel, Compass and Scenario Lab refresh on a schedule instead. When a feed goes quiet during market hours, the app labels it rather than passing old numbers off as live. Each module's built-in help says what it shows and how often it updates.
Which markets does it cover?
It's built around US index futures and index options: ES and NQ on the futures side, and SPX, NDX, QQQ and SPY for gamma and flow. Research modules cover more: Wheel scores 119 tickers and Supply Chain maps about 19.8k companies.
Do other members see my account balance?
No. Community shares trades in points only; dollar amounts stay private. Trades are shared from the ATAS plugin, and you can switch sharing off in its settings.
Can I change how it looks?
Yes. There are 106 themes with a live preview (Cmd or Ctrl+T), and My Desk lets you build your own dashboard from about 40 components.
ATAS and AI
Connecting other tools.
What is the ATAS plugin?
GWTV2.dll adds three indicators to ATAS X: Community trade sharing, 0DTE GEX Levels on NQ and MNQ charts, and a Multi-Session VWAP. It's included with your subscription and signs in with your GWT token.
How do I get the ATAS plugin?
From inside the app: open Tools, then ATAS Indicator. It finds your ATAS indicators folder and installs or updates the DLL with one click, or saves a copy to Downloads for another computer. Restart ATAS afterwards; on Windows, close ATAS before installing.
What is Connect AI?
Connect AI lets Claude, Cursor or another assistant that speaks the Model Context Protocol read the app's data through 37 read-only tools. You create a key in the app (or approve a sign-in), and you can revoke it at any time. The tools can read data; they can't trade or change your account.
Ready when the open is
Put gamma, flow and liquidity on one screen.
Get your access token, download the app for your Mac or PC and paste the token at sign-in. It takes about two minutes.
